Moroccans in France

Invest in Dubai and Morocco from France.

You live in France, you have built your life there, and Morocco is still close to your heart. One foot in Europe, deep roots back home: this is exactly the situation I built my advisory work around.

From France

What changes when you live in France.

Investing in Dubai

  • You pay in euros from your French bank; since the UAE dirham is pegged to the US dollar, we factor the exchange rate into every calculation.
  • Freehold ownership in the areas open to foreigners
  • Booking and signing done remotely
  • Dubai is 3 hours ahead of Paris in winter, 2 hours in summer: we work around your hours

Buying in Morocco

  • The power of attorney can be drawn up at one of Morocco's consulates in France or before a notary.
  • New-build developments marketed by Abraj
  • Land title and notary checked
  • Funds held in convertible dirhams for money coming from abroad

On the French side

  • Income from a property in Dubai or Morocco falls under French tax rules and the treaties between the countries concerned: a tax adviser in France confirms your position.
  • Payments in euros from your bank
  • Documents ready for your bank and your tax return

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

I live in France: can I buy in Dubai without travelling?

How do I buy in Morocco from France?

The power of attorney can be drawn up at one of Morocco's consulates in France or before a notary. Your representative signs the deed at the notary's office and you receive the land title in your name.

Do I need to declare the property in my country of residence?

Income from a property in Dubai or Morocco falls under French tax rules and the treaties between the countries concerned: a tax adviser in France confirms your position.
